Content featured on this site
Every Djane profile, photo, biography, link and piece of music featured on djanemag.ae, and on our Instagram and TikTok, is submitted by the Djane or contributor herself, or shared with her knowledge for the purpose of being featured on these platforms.
Ownership stays with the artist
DjaneMag UAE does not claim ownership of any Content featured on this site. Every Djane and contributor retains full ownership and copyright of her own photos, biography, links and music. Featuring that Content here grants DjaneMag UAE permission to use it as described below, it does not transfer any underlying rights.
What publication means
By submitting Content for feature, or by being featured or published on DjaneMag UAE’s Instagram, TikTok or website, a Djane or contributor grants DjaneMag UAE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, edit, publish and display that Content, including her name, artist or stage name, photos, biography, submitted links and music or music excerpts, for editorial, promotional and marketing purposes related to DjaneMag UAE.
No separate signature is required. Publication itself constitutes agreement to these terms.
Every Djane and contributor featured on this site confirms, by virtue of that feature, that she owns the Content or holds all necessary rights, licences and permissions (including from any third party involved, such as a photographer or producer) to have it published, and that its use by DjaneMag UAE as described here does not infringe any third party’s rights.
Credit
Where reasonably practicable, DjaneMag UAE credits each Djane and contributor by her provided name and/or artist or stage name, and tags her submitted social media handle where applicable.
No compensation
Features on DjaneMag UAE are provided free of charge and without monetary compensation to either party, unless otherwise agreed separately in writing.
Removal requests
Any Djane or contributor may request the removal of her Content at any time by writing to hello@djanemag.ae. DjaneMag UAE will action such requests within a reasonable time.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, UAE.
